\"Poker\" <\/p>\n

Basically, Poker is a game where a group of players sit around a circular or oval table. They are dealt five cards and are expected to use these to create the best possible hand. The player with the highest-ranking hand wins the pot.<\/p>\n

In most poker games, the ante is a small bet, typically in the $1 to $5 range. The small blind is half the ante. The big blind is a full ante.<\/p>\n

There are a lot of different poker variants, but the most popular is Texas Hold’Em. It is played with five to seven players and involves the ante and blinds.<\/p>\n

The poker’showdown’ happens after the last betting interval. The best hand wins the pot, but the best hand is not always the most obvious choice. A flush is a hand made up of five cards of the same suit. A straight is a hand made up of five cards, but not all of them must be of the same suit.<\/p>\n
