\"Poker\" <\/p>\n

Poker is a card game that involves betting and strategy. It can be played with two or more players and is a game of growing odds and tension over hours and dozens of hands (rounds). It may seem like Poker has a large amount of chance, but just as in any other competitive skill game the best players will win over time. Players must learn optimal frequencies and hand ranges to make the right bets.<\/p>\n

At the beginning of each round, all players place a fixed amount of money into the pot. Then, a single card is dealt to each player face-down and a round of betting takes place. The player with the highest hand wins all of the money in the pot. If there is a tie, the players with the best five-card hands share the pot.<\/p>\n

To begin a hand, the player to the left of the button places in a small blind and a big blind. These bets are compulsory for everyone to call or raise. A player can also choose to fold, in which case he or she forfeits any rights to the pot.<\/p>\n

After a few rounds of betting, each player reveals their cards. The player with the best 5-card hand wins the pot. If a player has a pair, they must match the rank of the other player\u2019s pair.
